At the edge of the launch pad stood Luna, the littlest rocket of all. Today was her very first trip to the Moon, and her engines felt fizzy and wobbly inside. "What if I'm too small?" she whispered. Big Rocket Rex leaned down. "Every rocket feels fizzy before the first launch," he said. "That just means you're about to do something new." The countdown began. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one... blast off! Whoosh! Luna zoomed up through the fluffy clouds, past the blue sky, and into the dark, sparkly space. Everything was quiet and floaty. She saw the Earth below, round and blue and swirled with white. Then, glowing ahead, was the Moon. Luna landed gently, puff, in the soft grey dust. She looked back at the Earth, shining like a marble in the dark. "I did it," she said. "I was fizzy and scared, and I did it anyway." And when Luna flew home that night, all the other little rockets cheered, because being brave doesn't mean you're never scared. It means you try, even when you are.
