Parents stay in charge of every story

Real voices are recorded by parents themselves

• “Record with my voice” recordings are made by you, reading aloud, and are saved under your name, like “Mom (original)”.
• A voice copy (Your Voice) can only be made from a sample the person records themselves. Please only record your own voice, or someone's who has said yes.
• We never make a voice from a recording found somewhere else, and voices are never shared between families.

You review AI voices and pictures before they're kept

• New AI audio for a story, and new AI voice readings of Public Stories, wait in “Waiting for your review”. Only you can hear them there. Listen, then choose Keep for the speaker or Discard.
• New AI pictures wait the same way: only you can see them until you choose Keep this picture. Only then do they become the cover and show on the speaker's picture screen.
• Your speaker only plays and shows what you've kept.
• Pictures for the shared Public Stories are drawn and reviewed by the site admins, not by individual families.

Every AI story and picture is checked first

• AI stories are written under children's-book principles made for ages 0–12, then checked against a children's content safety guardrail: no violence or gore, nothing frightening beyond the child's age, no unsafe behaviour to copy, no discrimination, no religious or political messages, no ads.
• A story or picture that needs changes is redone with the fixes; one that still doesn't pass is never shown.
• Stories that touch a sensitive topic, such as fear, loss or a big change, come with a short note for grown-ups.
• No system is perfect, so we still suggest reading or listening along the first time.

Private by design

• Your AI stories, Growth Assistant, recordings and voices are visible only to your family.
• No public profiles, no chat with strangers, no comments, no ads and no in-app purchases for children.
• New accounts can use the free stories straight away; the AI features turn on only after the site admins approve the account.

The story speaker

• It only starts listening after its wake word (“Hi ESP”) or a tap on its screen, and listens for a few seconds to hear which story your child wants.
• Those few seconds are turned into text to find the story, and we don't keep the recording.
• It has no camera, and its picture screen is paper-like, without a glowing light at bedtime.
